GHS Classmates of 1979:

 

We hope this communication finds you in good spirits, health, and infused with abundant joy and overwhelming peace!  Amazingly it's been nearly FORTY years since the Pomp and Circumstance of our graduation! We are super excited to announce that plans have been made for us to experience an absolutely magnificent reunion this summer, August 9-11, 2019;  we cordially invite you to join us and see just how forty years have changed everyone except you!

Our phenomenal festivities will commence on Friday, August 9, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. with an incredible meet, greet, and casino evening with cash bar at the Georgia International Convention Center, 2000 Convention Center Concourse (Salon 3), College Park, Georgia 30337. Then, on Saturday, August 10, 2019, we will have a formal Orange Carpet Gala which will include a cocktail hour with cash bar at 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. followed by a sumptuous dinner. Our celebratory weekend will conclude on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the College Park Golf Course, 3711 Fairway Drive, College Park, 30337 which will contain a morning service and brunch. A golf outing may also be arranged with your classmates and guests following the scheduled events for your leisure and pleasure.

 

Lodging accommodations have been arranged with the Atlanta Airport Marriott Gateway Hotel which is located on the same property as the Georgia International Convention Center. Guests will make their hotel bookings directly with Marriott, mentioning our reunion to secure the negotiated rate. 

 

Please reserve your spot by taking advantage of the Early Bird Special of $125 for Classmates of 1979 and Guests $75 by February 28, 2019. Complete the attached registration and questionnaire,  and submit it to our website as soon as possible. Tickets include all three events (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). We will send a confirmation packet upon receipt of your completed payment.

 

We also need your assistance in helping us locate as many of our classmates as possible.   If you have contact information for ANYONE, please forward this information to us expeditiously.  Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
